He would if He thinks it is helpful for us. With God nothing is impossible. There is nothing He can't do. However I think He would desire that we trust in His eternal word. IJohn1:9 has this to say: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness". He will know that we confess..He is faithful to forgive. For us it is that simple...for God it meant the death of His one and only Son our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross to pay the price.

If you have not asked for forgiveness and have that nervous feeling it is from the Lord. If you have asked for forgiveness and still have it, it is from Satan. Satan wants you to believe that what you have done can not be forgiven. Because if you believe that then you doubt God's word. God can give you a sign but for me personally I have never received one excepted the peace that comes from a compassionate God that sees no level to sin and is willing to forgive everything.
