Hi I have lost my VIN plate to my 1955 Bel Air, after a restoration.Where can i get a replica or replacment

Contact your local police department and ask that an auto theft detective come to your home to help you locate the hidden vin. No one, that i am aware, will make you a duplicate vin plate. in your vehicle, keep plenty of ownership and registration papers, to verify ownership, if stopped by the police. there should be at least two other body locations, to find your vin. be aware of these locations, to show police, if stopped and questioned about ownership of the vehicle.
