well working out is :)
-
Not at all...I guess it should be though...
-
not really... I have my own work out. Gyms are too restrictive, and there are a lot of guys there who like to boob surf.
-
Not especially. I prefer the swings.
-
Not really no but i have to change my eating habits so I may go to the gym soon so I guess it will be soon.....
-
The weights are important to me, the cardio isn't, cos I can go for a walk or do cycling elsewhere
-
Not at all. I've never liked that. I've worked out at home, gone on walks, lifted weights at home. I do rel well by self motivation. Plus I like to do real work so I feel more of a sense of accomplishment, so if I can chopped some firewood or stack firewood, I'd rather do that and feel good twice.
-
No, I rather go to the beach and exercise for free
-
Fitness is very important to me. The gym is my home away from home. I still work out at home too, but there is a camaraderie at the gym that I love. Plus I do things for instructors that I would never do on my own.
-
Yes, it is. For weight control and long term health. I don't feel right if I have to miss a day. (Like today unfortunately.)
-
well its important in the fact that I need to stay in shape, however I HATE the gym! I still go though **sigh**
-
Nope, not at all. I work out at home.
-
I exercise at home. So no, going to the gym isn't important to me.
-
Yes it is, i just joined about 4 months ago and so far only lost like 17 pounds and like 4% body fat. I am doing well, I just thought it would come off easier than it has.
-
Yes. My gym is in my basement.
-
Holy smokes yes!!!!
-
kinda i play sports @ school so it doesn't matter if i go i do it there
-
The gyms very important to me i have to go every week. There are so many different things to do there.
-
I used to go to the gym, but due to gas and the cost of living I just walk for 90 minutes 6 days a week
-
Yes, because that's where I get a lot of my exercise, and have my pilates classes.
-
No, I don't go anymore. I just workout at home.
-
yes when I am in there with others, I work out harder. If I'm on my own, I don't push myself!
-
Going to the gym isn't as important to me, as making sure I stay physically active. Meaning exercising at least 5 times a week in one way or another. Where i do it, that doesn't matter much to me.
-
yes it is.
-
It is definitely important to me. In fact when I can't go I feel guilty, sluggish, and I am moody. Exercise gives me that high and keeps my energy up that is why I love it.
-
yes love going to the gym .. and looking good
-
not really ... i would go i had time, but i can keep myself healthy looking but walking and doing push ups in the house.
-
Not really. There is always walking and biking, sometimes for great distances. As for weights, there are 40-lb bags of water softener salt and dog food at work, which I sometimes stock. Also 20-lb bags of rice.
-
It's a daily staple. Yes it is.
-
Going to the gym is not so important..health is more important..
-
YES!! ABSOLUTELY IMPORTANT. My life is so hectic that I just need to exercise. It's my personal stress buster. My girlfriend also appreciates it lol. She wants me to keep my sexy image and make other girls jealous of her...lol. Well, I wanna be sexy for my girl because she's always sexy for me. In conclusion, going to the gym is very important to me.
-
yeah, i love going to the gym, but i hate to go alone, i get bored and dont do my workout, but if im with someone, we try to break our records, and thats fun, trying always keep getting better and better
-
Yes.
-
It's important to me because unlike a lot of people I enjoy exercise, I like the rush I get when I go on a run and feel the blood pump through my body when I lift heavy weights. I also enjoy the fact that I am way fitter than your average person so I feel superior to them because when they get all wrinkly from fags and bear I will still have my looks and a healthy heart with no diseases. It's also good to go with a mate so you can compete and out do each other.
-
Yes it is very important to me, so I don't stink up my own bathroom at home and there is free showers to wash my asshole!
-
yep, not only for my mental sanity, but if I don't I'll turn into a fat cow =)
-
Yes, it help you maintain your excerise and enegry. Help you get you loss weight!
-
I don't go to the gym, but I am considering it as an option in the future. It looks way more appealing to me than it used to.
-
No, because I get any exercise I do in other ways on my onw without going to the gym.
-
i normally train/work out at home seeing that i dont like to workout in front of any one.
-
nope
-
Yes. Its part of a daily routine I've followed for over three years now.
-
As important as breathing.
-
I used to think so, but now i realise that i can gain all the benefits im after without goiing, plus I dont waste time getting there and back, plus I dont need to fork out for those hefty gym fees!!
-
Extremely. I gotta keep my husband happy !
-
Nope; I believe that going to the gym is a waste of money for something you can do for free. I mean hundreds of euro a year to get membership for something you can do for free. Treadmill? Get up off your bum and walk around your estate. Weightlifts? There are many items around all houses that are heavy and serve the same purpose. In my opinion, the gym is a way to cheat people.
-
Of course!
-
Yes it is. I go there 3 times a week. I can exercise at home with my stability ball & mat, but I do a lot more at the gym. I workout with a personal trainer for an hour when I'm there, and have pilates once a week. The rest of the time, I'm on the treadmill or elliptical, and doing my ab routine.
-
Sleeping is more important for me...heheee!!!
-
Yes, really helps in building physical and mental discipline. Work out regularly both at home and at gym.
-
yes..physical benefit is the main reason i go to the gym every day.
-
yes :))
-
Not the gym. Working out.
-
Nope not at all. +5

Going to the gym shouldn't be as important as keeping yourself in good shape. I go running in out door trails and that keeps me in very good shape. Gyms are nice but there is nothing better than the fresh air of the outdoors. A gym is packed with people and you don't get the same fresh air that you could be getting outside. The downside is that running outside requires a lot of motivation and flexibility. I created a blog for people in the Bay Area interested to venture new running trails. http://bayarea-healthy-living.blogspot.com/ I hope this can be a resource to some of you ! :-) Emmanuel Matityahu
