When religious people say they have no fear of dying cause they know they are going to a better place, do you believe them? Surely life should still be sacred.

They aren't saying that life isn't sacred just because they are not afraid to die. What they are saying is that when their time comes to leave this Earthly plane they believe it isn't the end, and that they will go on to a better place and have a new life to lead. They aren't wishing themselves dead merely acknowledging that it is another stage of life.
