For older AB-users: Do you ever feel melancholy and whistful that the great users you met when you first started coming here are now all too often either gone from the site, or largely ignored and underappreciated amid the mass of newer users?

The seasoned members are not ignored over newer users. If you consider me an older user, (I joined last fall), many of the users that were here when I joined are still here.

Life works that way. The new come in to replace the old and departed.

I do when I come across activity by an ABer that I haven't seen in a long time. I'll check their profile to see if they still log in. So many ABers I enjoyed seeing here have either left or haven't participated in months.

Okay, I'm only "older" in age (compared to a lot on AB) but I'd like to throw my two cents in and say... Variety is the spice of life! :)

Yes I do. There are lots of nice new people but I still miss many of the old ones (not old in age)
