I did. I have the entire series on DVD. I saw the last episode before the series even started on t.v. in America. and I had the live action Death Note and Death Note 2 movies on DVD before the cartoon series even started over here. There is a store in our mall that orders movies straight from Japan. So we got the DVDs before it was even over here. I love Near. He's the best. Not as intelligent as L, but he and Mello sure took out Light even made L couldn't. Did yo get what L's real name is?

Found it very disappointing myself. I really enjoyed the series until L died. I actually thought that just maybe he wasn't really dead. I understand that there is an actual Death Note movie. It's played at midnight showings. Unfortunately, it hasn't been in my area yet.

I did. I was disappointed that two guys had to be used to take him down, so I wasn't too moved by the end.

the way this show ends is one of the best parts of the whole series.
