In the words of Anthony Bourdain: "If it's slower than me, dumber than me, and tastes reasonably good... pass the salt!" So, now you just have to ask yourself, are flamingos slower than you? Dumber than you? And do they taste reasonably good? If so, pass the salt!

I have heard that the leg that they keep tucked up all the time is very tasty and tender, because they hardly ever use it. Sure, you could eat one. I, myself, would be very interested to find out what they taste like.
