  • Sad to say I've never heard of him, Sak. Was he a film actor, TV, stage? Can you name some of the places I might have seen him? Happy Sunday! :) ((hugs))
  • I do not know of what Jim Millican died, but I know that he was a character actor, at least during the 40's and 50's, usually in westerns. He then went on into television westerns. As far as I know, also, he was usually credited, although I cannot remember just which westerns. His daughter, Ginny, and I were at UCLA at the same time (1954-55, I as a freshman, she as a junior) and worked in the Student Store in the art supplies department. She sometimes mentioned her father. He also owned a Chevrolet dealership, "Millican Chevrolet" in, I think, west LA. It was there for many years. I hope this gives you an additional bit of information so you can find him. Try the UCLA directory, class of 1956. She would be about 74 and may still be alive.
