They are all right, its comes down to context like, if you were talking about a song you had heard you would say "I heard a song the other day" but if you were talking about the act of listening to it you would say "I was up in my room listening to a song" hope this helps you out

they are both sets correct, but the difference is emotion. I heard a song means you weren't paying a lot of attention to it. I was listening to a song means you were involved in it, giving it your attention. Do you want to see a movie? (not a lot of involvement) I watched a movie called.....( you were taking it in)
