The technical side of the subject suggests convenience for the player, and obligates the player to utilize and learn certain primitive strategies such as taking out many enemies at once, but its become redundant and cliché by now, and in today's gaming evolution, is absolutely no excuse for such poor artificial intelligence, especially now that we're seeing shooters with better built plots and storylines.
