  • You can go direct with a network cable from the PS2 network adapter to the modem. You'll have to pull the cable from your PC in the modem, unless it has an additional port. If you go the router route, you can avoid having to manually swap the cables. Up to you. There may even be a splitter for this, but don't take that as gospel. I've never gone that way, just the way I described. Edit in response to your remark: That's what I'm saying in my answer, you CAN use a network cable from the PS2 network adapter to the modem. I just assumed you had a PC, since you obviously have the modem. Just ignore the part about swapping cables from the PC.

  • i'm in the same mess here i have the cable modem and the network adapter do i also need a wired router or a wireless my concern is since i have the interner cable or line cable could i simply use that instead I'm confused
