If you mean weight, it is the best thing you can do, my husband lost 55 lbs in 3 months, dieting and walking. We started slow and worked up to 4 miles a day, 5 days a week. We looked great. I still do, look great that is. He got fat again:(

If you're talking about getting hurt and walking it off, it kinda does work.

We started to walk and diet. We walked until we reached 4 miles a day. My husband lost 55 lbs. I lost 3. I wasn't heavy, so I only strenghened my leg muscles. We don't walk as much. I still look good, and he got fat again:(

If your talking about injury walking it off works for the short term. Like I almost broke my leg during basketball season but instead sitting on the bench walked it off no pain during the game. But the next day boy let's see walking it off will come back to bite you.
