Why does orange juice taste bad after you brush your teeth?

Toothpaste has para-hydroxy benzoic acid( breaks down plaque). After brush your teeth...you have residual left in your mouth. This reacts with the ascorbic acid in orange juice and makes it taste funny...me thinks :)

It is due to Sodium Laurel Sulfates in the toothpaste(the pasrt of toothpaste that makes it foam to reach everywhere in your mouth). These SLS's inhibit your sweetness tastebuds and intensify the bitterness tastebuds, therefor orange juice taste like crap, or anything that is sweet for that matter.
