Its not so much that the engine can handle as it is if the truck frame can handle it, dont ever pull over the recommended weight of the hitch.

int heory,yes. if it was geared low enough.if you had it geared that low,you could walk faster than it would run. also the frame would have to be strengthened for the extra weight and torque applied to it....so pulling it would not be any great difficulty...stopping however would be a completely different story...
