I am looking for a box score of a game played in St. Louis against the Phillies in either 1976, 1977, 1978, or 1979. Brock pinch hit and I believe singled. He then stole a base. I thought it was a dbl header and 2nd game, but might be wrong. Please help

The only game that I could find that matches most of your criteria occurred on August 31, 1977, when the Cardinals played the San Diego Padres. In that game, Brock pinch-hit for rightfielder Mike Anderson, singled off Rollie Fingers in the eighth inning, and then stole second one batter later. However, there are some discrepencies: first, the game wasn't played in St. Louis, it was played in San Diego and second, there wasn't a double header that day. Thank you for your help. The game was definitely played in St. Louis and was against Philadelphia. The double header may have been a day or a few days prior to this game if this game wasn't. I know Brock didn't start and he scored and stole a base. thanks
