I am worried about wanting to drink alcohol, in mid july I am going into a prevention program to be safe. You have all been great friends, and I will talk to you all when I get back. Who will accept a hug?

I would really like a hug from you! I have been told I give really good ones, too. I admire you more than you know for accepting treatment. It's much easier to self medicate rather than going through a prevention program. You are obviously a strong person. I don't have to know you to be proud of you. You are taking control of your issues instead of letting them control you. What a gift to yourself :)

(((((((BEAR HUG !!!!!))))))) for my favorite cool canine in shades! BTW, cranberry juice helped me to cut the craving and eggs helped cut the nervousness. The eggs are an old detox remedy that can help even if you don't have literal DT's. I can only speak of my own experience this may not help everyone but I thought I would pass it along. Hang in there and congrats my friend; you are a strong one!
