i don't have any stocks, i was looking into the legal loop holes in creation of a company and the price for the person to report my stock value would cost more than twice as much as for the materials and machines! i am moving on to smaller and more easily accomplished goals!

My inverstor does that for me. I've been retired for over 4 years and I still have the same amount in my IRA. And yes, I am drawing on it.

I got out last Jan. I am wondering if it is time to get back in I also wish my IRA would have let me short the market I could have retired by now.

The stock mutual funds we own have taken a big hit. But our investments are diversified into bonds, CD's and Money Market accounts so we don't have to sell any of the stock funds if we should need money. The beauty of diversification has really shown during these last couple years. Bonds aren't paying well if you buy them now but those bought before are worth hanging onto. The EE bonds that were yielding 6% have matured and are earning only 4% but that's good in today's market.

I lost lots of money in last September, however I recovered all of them and made some serious profit by investing all I had in stocks in march.

Yes, I do. But only in stocks with high dividend and a very good balance sheet. I still keep away from banks and high tech.
