Yes, I believe so. They won all their matches, when you look at their numbers they had both the best offense and best defense average wise, plus they played each game magnificently from a strategic point of view, they adapted to their rival's style of game and succeeded each time. Spain is the deserving winner of Euro 2008.

Yes another indicator was that eight players from the Spanish team made it into the Euro championship choice that a panel selected the best players of the tournamnet from.

Yes I think they did the standard of football was high and entertaining.

No. As with my games, the referee decided the game. Too many bad calls were made against Germany. Take a relook at the game and you will see many dirty plays by Spain. I think the early referee calls kind of took the spunk out of Germany.
