This I just did mpeg 4 you can't watch on windows media player you will have to down load quick time player I could never get mpeg1 or mepeg2 to work..

mpeg4, commonly know as divx or Xvid or MP4. (Quic-time) .mov could e anything, QT container. ,mpeg (1) is a vcd format, needs to be put in right format to play in dvd player, but dropped onth cd will play on PC.(mpeg file) ,mp2?/.vob (on DVD) (mpeg2 is near or at DVD quality.4 is better if your have the option, but watch the site, most mp4's are too small or too heavily compressed to watch. fullscreen takes about 2GB of space.you can get away with 500mb.anything less than that and quality will suffer GREATLY.) DVDs are usually CSS encoded, need libdvdnav for linux (with libcss) installed and windows version of mplayer (from mplayerhq.hu) or someother player to play. WMP Will NOT play dvds or mpeg2 nor will Quick-Time by default.QT has a $20 plug-in.if you use it,dont upgrade, the upgrade will invalidate your pro version and the plugin.
