That would depend on if you believe in ghosts, as well as how you think they become ghosts.

Those who don't want to move on will stay behind and become ghosts. Those who kill themselves usually just want this life to end, so I think they would probably want to move on.

Suicide victims in some religous beliefs are said to be banished from ever entering the kingdom of God, depending on the religion they will either suffer in purgatory or go straight to hell for the act of suicide. (Note: I appologize for any typos, pain meds have me loopy for a few days here. Don't want to be attacked by the spelling police!)

I think that ghosts are people that don't know they are dead. suicide victims would probably know they are dead so I wouldn't think they would become ghosts, but who knows for sure.

I think so because they led a tortured existence where they had to end their lives. I can't imagine they would be at peace.
