Well isn't that the point? The finger was invented to offend without violence. Kudos to you from resisting the primal rage and simply lifting you middle digit to protest life. That being said, it has pretty much ran its course and is quite commonplace now adays. Just recently, I saw the preacher flip off someone in traffic. In answer to your question, no... but there are avatars that would...ask another question to find out.
