Do starships need keys?

they should have a key system installed. For large starships, it would make it harder to be stolen by other races. Shuttles for the same reason.

Yes they do it's in the sofware it's an encryption key known only by 3, or it takes 2 junior officers and one senior in the event of an emergency to override .. ~Nemo~
