If you are old, theres this boro called Lakehurst in the Township of Manchester where alot of elderly people retire at. Theres a six flags close also.

If you lived in New Jersey you would know that: 1. Frank Sinatra was from New Jersey (as well as Ray Liotta, Witney Houston, Jon Bon Jovi, Martha Stewart and a score of other famous Hollywood types) 2. NJ is the home of Callahan's Hot Dogs (if you've never had one, you've missed one of the best things in life) 3. Most of the major pharmaceuticals (from Novartis to Esai) are headquartered in NJ 4. One of the most exclusive and expensive bedroom communities in the country - Bergen County - is located in Northern NJ 5. You have Atlantic City a stone throw's away 6. You have some of the most famous boardwalks in the country 7. NJ doesn't have the beach but the Shore 8. The Turnpike probably has the most holes of any other road in the country 9. Paramus is the Mall Capital of the country 10. The NY Giants are really a New Jersey team 11. NJ has the cheapest gas prices in the nation - always 12. The residents of the state are the only ones that don't call it 'Jersey' 13. NJ had the first (and to date, the only) gay governor who imported a boyfriend from Israel who was paid for his favors with taxpayers money 14. New York City dumps all of his waste (including biohazzard) on the NJ beaches 15. Newark is the carjacking capital of the country,

i love the accents! Its also in the northeast, which i think is a very interesting area of the US. Its close to NYC. Its close to the water (even if it is freezing). It has big, beautiful trees that change colors. I'm sure there is more, but i dont know much about it.

Yes, there are many things about New Jersey

I've lived here all my life and I like the fact that I live 40 mins from the jersey shore, 30 mins from philly, and a little over an hour to NYC. There is so much to do and see in this area and you're close to everything. Go camping in the pine barrens, see a show in philly, gamble at night in AC and everything in between... I love the variety here, you cant beat it!

yes... It is beautiful in parts and all the cool clubs are in the areas that are... well.. not so beautiful! Great food, great real estate, close to NYC... Jersey is awesome! I wish i were there and I would trade you Florida in a heart beat!

Its close proximity to New York City. You can actually afford to buy a house in New Jersey, when compared with New York. Accessibility. Fun people. Things to do. Transportation availability.
