  • cocoa butter....heheheheee.
  • Here is a home cure, straight from the rain forests in the Palauan Islands. I watched this, and know it works...for those jungle ladies, anyway. They make a paste of turmuric (common spice) and water, and then rub it on the stretch marks. After about a week, the marks seem to disappear. Who knows? It may work for you as well. Good Luck!
  • I tried every known product & suggestion known to man...I never had any luck. I had a multiple pregnancy & it left me with severe stretch marks. I've had reconstructive surgery to get rid of as many of them as possible. You can ask an aesthetic doctor or a dermatologist & they may have some suggestions.
  • Pure Vitamin E oil should make them somehwat less visible....... or cosmetic surgery
  • That can happen to any female at any age, mostly from losing weight. I would say you are young enough to exercize the areas that are giving your problems, plus they do fade in time
  • Yeah they deffinatly fade in about a year or two because i had stretch marks on my stomach because i had a gut but then i started running and doing situps and all that stuff and after a year of doing track and cross country it slowly is fading away. so just dont get fat anytime soon and you will be good
  • A product called Mederma helps with reducing the appearance of scars, which is what stretch marks are. You can buy it at most stores.
  • cocoa butter, I think it's called. My friend uses it to get rid of his stretch marks
  • You don't get them from loosing weight, you get them from your skin stretching, which usually is from GROWTH. Cocoa butter is supposed to help but i don't know that it really does. I'm sure a dermatologist could prescribe something to help, but at your age, they will probably fade in not too long. I wouldn't do TOO much about them.
  • you can try to use cocobutter.i herad it works very good...
  • Don't worry about them, they'll go away as you get older.
  • Yes you can get rid of them by usung Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion. Its for stretch marks. I use it because I am pregnant and I haven't found one yet and I'm getting big. Good luck honey
  • There are a number of reasons for stretch marks, but the main one is rapid weight gain, whether during pregnancy or fast weight gain otherwise. Applying lotions, creams and ointments can help a little in some cases, especially if the extra weight was not put on too quickly. You should know that these marks can disappear, or lessen, after the cause of the skin stretching is gone.
  • I hat eot say this but....clothes. Cover them up. I know people that have tried all sorts of things, creams, lotions, vitamins, herbs, exercises, nothing, not even much of a fade. Wear them proudly, like you earned them or keep them covered is my best advice
  • hi there, i would reccommed a product called bio-oil it doesn't get rid of them completelt but it does fade them significantly, you can buy iy from most chemists on the high street, hope it does the trick for you.
  • They'll fade on their own in time, but for me I used pure vitamin E oil, and some cocoa butter...seemed to work find for me.
  • Here is a good site that may help you get rid of them naturally.http://www.otan.dni.us/webfarm/emailproject/stretch.htm
  • Put toothpaste on your pimple before you go to bed, should help reduce swelling overnight. Make sure it is the paste not the gel. One of the most popular home remedies for acne. Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne. source: http://www.bestbeautytipz.blogspot.com
  • I have had stretch marks since I was your age, from having large muscles due to ballet dancing. When I got mine there was nothing on the market to help. Now there are a couple of different creams at the drug store. I do not remember the names of the creams, but you will find them in the lotion section and they are specifically for reduction of stretch marks. They sometimes have a picture of a pregnant woman on the front, but they work for any stretch marks. Go to your local Walgreens or Rite Aid and ask - they will be able to show you the creams.
  • StriVectin-SD is working for me... http://www.strivectin.com/sd/strivectinsd_1.html
  • I've heard coco butter helps tremendously.
  • Surgery is the most effective way to get rid of them. Creams and stuff can help, but won't erase them completely. Galeanda has the safest advice though..
  • There are many creams and lotions that claim to help but nothing will remove Stretch marks. It is a break down in the skins layers. I believe there is now a Cosmetic Surgery procedure but i would want to see some incredible before and after results to pay to have any marks i had removed.
  • I don't think that there is. I gained 60 lbs when I was pregnant with my first kid & my tummy looks like Freddy Kruger. I tried everything but to no avail. On the bright side, they do fade in time & turn to a silver color. The stretch marks are from the skin stretching below the under layers so there is nothing you can do. Cocoa butter is another wives tale.
  • LOL Lemme know if you find one!
  • try rubbing Bio-Oil into them.
  • You can't get "rid" of them they are scars. You can fade them though with mederma. It's over the counter at most chain stores. But anything that promises to get rid of them is a crock of bull.
  • You cannot get rid of stretch marks . I believe they are now doing some kind of cosmetic surgery but no creams or pills will get rid of them.
  • use cocoa butter
  • bio oil
  • I would say vitamin E which takes awhile or emu oil which I use for tons of stuff LOVE it
  • Celtrixa- it takes twice a day for 3 or 4 months and you should see wonderful results. However, they are not going away. Strech Marks are results of the bottom layer of skin torn, there's nothing that can go that far deep into your skin and repair it, but there are creams like Celtrixa that can reduce the apperace tremindesly!
  • there are creams specially for making them less visible...one of them's called 'stretch mark improver' definately one in the body shop, take a look at your store
  • I know you should go to callnature and click on Skinderma Pro: Scars, stretch marks and burns treatment because the result is so remarkable the medicine will eradicate the stretch marks in just seven to eight weeks. be patient
  • I have really dark, obvious ones ALL OVER my thinghs and (yes...my breasts, also) Man I can't believe I just said that on here...oh well I've heard Bio-oil works wonders. My friend highly reccomends it, although I am yet to try it myself. Why not give it a shot? I know I will?
  • you could always tone up your skin with exercises its what I had to do
  • try using cocoa butter..(lotion, creams)
  • Two ways. First, exercise. Next, learn to live with them. You are the one they bother, not your s/o. So if you decide to accept them and realize they are not you but only a condition of your body, you can live with them without being bothered by them.

  • I have been researching forums that push products as well as board certified surgeon discussion forums and the conclusion I am getting to is that there aren't any particular creams that have a magical ingredient that gets rid of stretch marks. It is basically the rubbing that reduces the appearance. So, a person doesn't have to spend a lot of money on a stretch mark product...but just use any kind of lotion b/c it's the rubbing that helps and not the particular product. If there is anyone who used just regular lotion and then started using a stretch mark product and began seeing drastic results, please let me know! I would love to know if there is a product that works better than others.
  • I'm unsure of how to get rid of them, but rubbing in lanolin or olive oil can prevent them.
  • You cannot get rid of them you can only make them less visible, there are a lot of alternatives like lotions
  • I have been using Celtrixa for about a month. The recommendation is twice a day, but I sometimes forget here and there, or forget it when I go out of town. I am pleasantly suprised at the results. My stretchmarks have lost color and seem to be shrinking! I will continue using Celtrixa. Although I know it probably won't rid the stretchmarks completely, I have seen rapid results.
  • Celtrixa is complete crap. Don't waste your time or money. I had really light stretch marks, they were just in a couple areas from a growth spurt I had in my teen years and using the cream twice a day did absolutely nothing.
  • Exfoliate daily.Using stretch mark creams which contain cocoa butter. You can even get Microdermabrasion done where the top-most layer of skin is removed by chemical or mechanical means. Its done in spas and is not very expensive.
  • I have researched this a lot, as I do make natural body products, and sadly there is nothing. Pay attention to the marketing claims, "reduces the appearance of", get it? It 'reduces the appearance' of, it does not reduce the stretchmark. The only thing that may be of any hope, that I read and did not try, is that Emu oil, vitamin E and Helichrysum Essential oil. Emu Oil has helped burns heals to their pre burn status, this oil also has very small molecules that allows other ingredients to be absorbed into the skin. One article I read stated that some success has been shown with Vit E if the stretchmarks are not over I year old. And helichrysum essential oil has skin renewing properties but is very expensive. I eventually had mine removed via tummy tuck. Research those 3 and let us know.
  • Yeah, I do that.
  • A product called Bio-Oil.
  • lots of muscle toning excersises and Vit E oil massage!
  • Spackle!
  • Band Aid!
  • I've been told that applying vitamin E helps.
  • I have had stretch marks for 40 years and nothing really makes them go away. You can diminish their appearance. But go away? Dream on.
  • Well you can't always get rid of them. You need to keep the skin moisturized, and as the layers of skin renews the stretchmarks will fade.
  • I believe Vitamin E oil helps.
  • Divorce?
  • Home Remedies to Remove Stretch Marks * Time – Stretch marks, like all types of scarring fade over time. * Retin-A (Tretinoin) – 0.1% Tretinoin creams have been shown to significantly reduce the appearance of stretch marks in a study published in the May 1996 Archives of Dermatology. See your doctor for a prescription. These creams work best when used on fresh stretch marks. WARNING: Do not use tretinoin treatments if you are pregnant of breast feeding as the active ingredient may be passed to the unborn child or the breast milk. Vick's Vapor Rub * Exfoliate daily – use a loofah or scrunchy to remove daily. * Vic’s Vapor Rub – Many people have reported success using Vic’s Vapor rub by applying it to a washcloth or paper towel and rubbing it forcefully into the scarred skin on a nightly basis for a few weeks. * Increase Circulation – by taking hot baths and massaging the areas regularly. * Tanning – Go sunbathing! Tanning can diminish and even eliminate minor stretch marks. Be sure to use sun screen. Vitamin E Gel * Vitamin E Gel – Break open vitamin E capsules and rub the oil into the skin over the stretch marks daily for 2 weeks. * Unstretch the skin – After the skin returns to its normal, unstretched size, stretch marks often become nearly invisible. * Stretch Mark Creams and Lotions – Using stretch mark creams and stretch mark lotions that heal and beautify your skin can reduce the appearance of stretch marks. The following ingredients are widely accepted as beneficial for this purpose: o Cocoa butter o Rose hip oil o Emu oil o Jojoba oil
  • They are a scar, and never "go away" even with surgery, but Cocoa Butter Cream is great! Before going to bed "cake" it on the spot and let it soak in. Repeat over and over. They will eventually lighten or "skrink"
  • I use bio oil that is really really good. Although people say, 'its expensive' you can get the big bottles 2 for £20 off www.FragranceMad.com Hope this helped xox
  • You can't expect crazy results from a topical cream. if you have serious stretch marks and want serious results you have to go see a plastic surgeon. if you are interested in diminishing the look of stretch marks then celtrixa (AKA celltrisa celtriksa celdrisa) does work. I've been using it for 3 months now and it definitely diminished the marks. when i have the money i will get plastic surgery but this is good for now. This is the product that i saw on TV and heard on the radio. Here is the link to the website: http://www.Celtrixa.com/?ucp=4410&b=3884
  • I dont think you can get rid of them all together...but, there are products out there that claim to minimize the appearance of them..
  • I had gained 70 so i know what youre going thru. Ive lost 40 lbs over the yrs, but, i too need a tummy tuck. I tore the main ab muscle too so, i have that ripple in the middle of my stomache..i hate it.
  • No matter about that. Your man still loves you for delivering him a baby. Being a guy, i don't remember the ointments but there are some that help a little (probably very little). You are courageous to ask a question that a lot of folks would like to know the answer to!
  • Lol, i know..really messes everything up, but, the end result is a beautiful baby:) The mood swings seem to last forever tho, lol
  • No, but you can get them to fade...use some BIO OIL...or something. The reason stretch marks never go away is because the tissue under the skin is ripped...and it does not regenerate.
  • lol..we could be great friends then, lol..watch out people!! lol..where you from? Im in Ct..
