  • A seatbelt. In a head-on crash an airbag won't help you a bit - you'll fly through your windshield.
  • If the choice is strictly either/or, then I'll take the seatbelt. Proper restraint is VITAL to protecting the body in a collision. If you were to be involved in a collision where the airbag deployed and you were NOT wearing your seatbelt, you could sustain serious injury because the airbag is designed to provide you with specific protection based upon your body being EXACTLY where it is supposed to be at the time of the collision: properly restrained in your seat. By the way, for those who have a desire to know, neither your seatbelt nor your airbag will provide you with the protection they are designed for if you are driving/riding with your seat back laid all the way in the back seat.
  • Seatbelt ... without a doubt.
  • Seatbelt if I can't have both.
  • Idealy I'd have both but given the choice.... seat belt!
  • Seatbelt, anyday :p
  • Easy. The seatbelt. An airbag doesn't keep you in place.
  • Seat belt. My airbag could fail to deploy. I don't have any control over my airbag, but I am the Master of my seatbelt.
