Books on tape or CD are great. You can check them out at your local library.

Bring along a comfortable pillow. Those neck pillows are great for long trips. If you have a laptop, you can load a whole bunch of questions into it before you leave, and just answer away and save for input at the wireless rest stops or restaurants you stop at.
