  • The use of a private discharging indemnity bond (PDIB) is a scam and fraudulent. The US Treasury does not support, issue or acknowledge these bonds. People will send them to the Treasury and think they become valid. Call the Inspector Generals office in Washington, D.C. to confirm. People use these to buy things or to get loans against the PDIB. The bond is worthless and obtaining services is fraudulent and a scam. BEWARE OF PEOPLE PUSHING THESE BONDS.
