I answer question that I think I have good answers for. If someone used my answer already then most the time I will not answer. Or if I think someone has already put down a better answer.

That its readable. If its all in caps or with txt msg language, I normally skip it, because its so hard to read. Also, if I feel that I can't answer it well (like with questions about maths or physics etc) I won't answer it either. And finally, if it has a lot of responses and I don't feel that I'd be able to add anything new, I might read the first or second page of answers (particularly if I find the topic intriguing) but I probably won't answer it. Unless there is something that hasn't yet been said.

A question needs to look interesting in some way. SOme I know the answer to and some just make me think a bit and I may even have to meditate a while to answer as I feel I best can. Some questions, like older unanswered ones, interest me because they haven't gotten an answer and I wonder if I can find out the answer. Or even I am craving that answer too so I go do research about it so I can learn too. And some are just fun and strike a funny bone:-)
