  • They are both manufactured by G.M. in the same plant. Though the claim is that the GMC version is more heavy duty I have never seen anybody (even GM salesmen) that could show me a difference.
  • Like a rock. What amazes me is how GM allowed their other units: Pontiac, Buick etc. to convince them to starve Saturn and dumb it down to the same platform as their other divisions.
  • Actually in my opinion, there is a difference even though the parts are pretty much compatible. I have an Envoy and many Blazers and S10 parts will not fit my SUV..
  • Gm is a separate car company, from Chevy as a car company, but Chevy is owned by GM and could be thought of as a simply a brand under GM. More on Chevy cars...
