well away on a spiritual path. i've seen for me at least that when i'm happier on the spiritual path i meet new people and make friends that way.

I would want to be a person that everyone knows and loves. Anything superficial rarely lasts, and too much knowledge can drive one insane. Being well away on a spiritual path can be a great thing for one's happiness, but for me it only brings confusion. A talent is great to have also, but not as great to have as being well-known and loved. At least in my opinion.

Known and loved. That's how I'd want to spend my days on this earth, that's what I'd like to give to others, that's the legacy I'd like to leave behind. The other things are great, but at the end of the day, it's the relationships we have in life that are at the core of our humanity.

Being talented and a genius. Going on a spiritual path, I can do on my own with willpower. I have, before. As enlightening as it can be, it doesn't take away the fact that I'm disabled and that I've struggled all my life. One of the worst things about being on a spiritual path is that you know certain truths that other people will never believe, because they are blinded. But that being blinded is far more accepted. Of course, I wouldn't give up what I know, just to fit in. No matter how lonely I am. However, being on a spiritual path is within my power. Being smarter, prettier, and even popular is not.
