  • Fireworks don't cause any significant amount of pollution when you consider it per person per year, compared to, for example, car use. Surely the real questions are, with all the accidents they cause, why are fireworks legal? And why are we allowed to detonate any kind of explosives for fun?
  • Fireworks cause little amount of pollution and with the amount of fun they create, why make them illegal.I hear fireworks let off in my neighborhood quite often and not for national celebrations. It could be for a football game,a wedding, for almost anything.
  • Probably because it's like a fart in a hurricane compared to other sources of pollution.
  • You've got to be freaking kidding me. Are you some sort of dirty hippie or some kind of communist that hates freedom?
  • Another question...why does my question get down-rated? I said nothing offensive or bad, I simply asked a question. From my question there is no way to tell whether or not I am against fireworks. I love fireworks, I just notice the amount of trash they shoot everywhere and am wondering why they haven't been banned yet. If you down-rated my question, why not post a reason why you felt the need to do so?
