  • We used to have fuller brush salesmen that sold door to door when I was young. My mom used to invite him in and we'd watch his demonstration. She usually bought some kind of brush or another, and he made a good living at it back then. Through the years, I've been on quite a few job interviews for positions that were for door to door sales, though I never took any (most weren't advertised as door to door sales). But there were a lot of people who did take those jobs. I remember a few of them: one was selling Kitchen knife sets, two were selling Vacuum cleaners (Rainbow and Kirby), and one was selling replacement windows.

  • This used to be a common in my country. Some how this method of selling did not get on too well with the populace. However it is still a common sight in eateries to see people with big bags going around selling products ranging from socks to books for children. Some foreigners are now roped in to do this very tiring work.
