What do you think of people who come onto sites like AB, claiming to be professionals(Doctors, lawyers and the like), when they obviously are not? (They submit obviously flawed, inaccurate and sometimes potentially harmful information.)

I think there is really nothing we can do about them. They are everywhere on the net spreading crap like they are bags of fertilizer. Best we can hope for is that no one settles for just their information and is willing to research further before trying some of these suggestions.

I think they have too much time on their hands. But we all need to take Internet "experts" with a grain of salt, especially on Answerbag. :)

I think some are real!!! Others are spoofs. How do we tell the difference???? Go to and talk to ones we know are REAL.

frauds are everywhere... you just have to weigh what you hear with the responses of the layperson and just hope for the best. if you come to AB seeking the opinions of a professional like a doctor or lawyer, i pity the person because they are asking for trouble.
