  • Definitely...one pointer may be that Russia lost over 4 million troops in Afghanistan before they gave up...and it is still as unstable. USA is now looking hard at both Iran and Pakistan as possible targets to expand their operations. One may well ask,if the American Gov't. were to keep their noses out of all non-american countries, what conflicts would be ongoing? It is patently obvious that it's all about oil..even their own people have admitted this...yet they continue to fabricate reasons to engage their people in more global conflicts. What or Who gave the government of that country the right to act as the World's Policeman?? I thought...silly me...that the UN was formed for that role. How many more innocent people have to die for dubious causes and reckless engagement of hostilities in other countries?? Does anyone bother to ask the families of those lost if it was worth the loss of a loved one to reach the point that we are all at now? Since several top military people have now claimed that the gov't. knew they did not have just cause yet still misled the public...and are still doing so...why on Earth is that moronic, power hungry, proven bender-of-truth,and all-round wanker still in office??
  • I think Iraq is a waste of time and solely sponsored by the oil interests, hence the nepotistic and highly illegal Halliburton oil contract there. What ever happened to democracy and the lowest bidder getting the job in a truly democratic sense. Scrap that, what business does US big oil have doing in a country they just liberated in order to exploit it? Afghanistan is way more justified and actual military engagements are made from there. Pakistan should allow UN, i.e. US to foray into the NWFT region and weed out Al Qaeda like a certain president said he was going to do originally. I say train as many trusted Iraqis for their army so less US, um UN troops will be in Iraq and dissolve this Blackwater crap immediately.
