  • A police officer can pull over for no (real) reason at all! He/She just has to say that you didn't use your turn signal or you were driving erratically or you were speeding and then give you only a warning for that! It is not like a judge is going to believe Mr. Average Joe over a cop!
  • No. An officer must have probable cause that a crime has been committed in ALL states.
  • Just because you think it is no reason, doesn't mean there wasn't a reason. Perhaps the car looked similar to one that was used to commit a crime or the driver looked like a suspect. They can't pull you over for 'no reason', but a cop isn't going to waste their time for 'no reason'.
