I like 'cute.' What many guys consider 'hot,' I consider, well, very unappealing.

well i've just had to make that decision between two girls. One was incredibly hot but she knew it and it gave her a slutty personality. The cute girl however is less attractive but i could see her not just being a partner but a best friend. So my answer would be Cute!

When your Hot your Hot, but when your cute it's not. They are not the same. You do not say, "hey, she is hot in a sorta cute way." Hot signifies, "Man I gotta have that...now." Cute signifies, "She is so adorable, I could ask her out."
