How did you feel when they removed pluto's title as part of the planets?

i felt betrayed! my whole life i was lead to believe that pluto was a planet and here all he was was a stray satellite... my whole world came crashing down. how could you do this to me, science!

Honestly, I was a little bothered by it, it was kind of like the solar system was getting smaller. But, since then, Pluto has become a Plutiod http://www.iau.org/public_press/news/release/iau0804/ http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/06/080611094136.htm I am happy now. :)

I felt just fine. I never really understood Pluto when I was taught it was a planet, but now it's not, so I don't have to understand it anymore.

It felt like they wanted to remove it because it's a dead planet and they were scared to call it a planet. If Pluto can die so can Earth. Oooooo scary.

disgruntled...LOL!...they have to replace it with another planet that starts with a P or else: "My Very Eager Mother Just Sent Us Nine Pencils" will need to be changed too...this is how i got to memorize the nine planets...hahahhahahahahahaha!

ever since i did my grade 2 project on the solar system i have been intruiged by the planets and space so it's weird now lol but ahh i will get over it.

People are too picky - it was a planet for so long, why all of a sudden its not? It makes me BAWWW -_- Besides, now I can't teach my younger sisters and cousins how to remember the planets with the phrase "My Very Excellent Memory Just Served Up Nine Planets" ><
