Off the top of my head, some equals to Superman, not exclusive to the DC comics universe: Captian Marvel (as mentioned by O-uknow), Martian Manhunter, The Hulk, Silver Surfer, Namor the Sub-Mariner, Thor, and maybe Iron Man. It all depends really on the writer of the comic, though. In one famous DC comic book, 1986's "The Dark Knight Returns," Batman beat Superman down pretty bad.

Anyone can. You just have to be able to use your Kryptonite properly and he is as powerful as a mere mortal.
