    Most people would go with the yomega raider. Or now the yoyo jam sunset trajectory. Those are very good looping yoyos. They are used in competition. The yoyo factory also has a good looping yoyo that just came out. www.yoyoguy.com/menu For string tricks you will have a plethora of options. To get a hold of easily I would go to walmart and get a duncan mosquito. They are a good solid started string trick yoyo. If you have a chance get a Duncan Freehand. That is the most bang for buck.
