What is available memory? i have 2gig RAM and i found a box saying theres 945Mb available memory, above that says 2G memory. Memory (RAM)

available memory is the physical memory you have installed minus the memory needed to load your operating system, programs, and files.

If you've got 945 mb available ram after everything else is loaded and running you're in great shape.
