No. I think it is degrading and personal. It is just another way to get into your business. Next thing you know, they will begin dictating how much you can and can not weigh if yo plan on staying there. If you want to lose weight join a club with people who don't know you.

Actually, my workplace is having a weight loss contest, a spin off from biggest loser, actually, and no, I am avoiding it, for I choose to be a bit vain and not keep with programs!

Nah, I'm naturally skinny, so I would probably lose.

I actually would, I think it would be a great motivator to beat some of these "co - workers" in a contest, plus every pound lost would help!!

Yes.

I did one time when we did it a few years ago. I lost 10-12lbs, which I eventually gained back plus a few. I finally joined Weight Watchers and lost over 80 lbs. Since then, this year, a bunch in my office did their own version of Biggest Loser. Some were quite successful. Problem is, you really need to keep it up. Even after losing all the weight I did, I work just as hard to keep it off. But, if I still needed to lose weight, I might have done it with them. It's always easier to lose when you have others in the same boat and you can be supportive of each other.
