Why wouldn't you go to a pharmacy and ask them, rather than post a question that complete strangers guess at the answer?

It is good that you are trying to find out before you accuse him of anything. Teens are sensitive and communication is good-however being well informed is better than jumping his case not knowing all the facts. Plus if he is doing drugs and thinks you are too stupid to find out what it is he will most likely continue feeling more confident that you are not knowledgable. Teens/people messing with drugs are not likely to be honest about what they are doing. Most are in denial themselves, thinking that they are not doing any harm.

good thing you found it, I dont know what it is, but there seems to be pretty good answers here.
When my nephew was a teenager, my sister used to make him give her a strand of hir every month, stating it was four a drug test-it wasn't, but he didnt know that, kept him inline.
You can nip this in the bud-good luck.

Methylprednisone is not the kind of "steroid" used for athletes, to my knowlege..it is used for sinus infections, back injuries, or anthing involving swelling. It merely takes down inflamation. It comes in a package (medrol dosepak) where the user takes 6 pills the first day, then 5 the next, 4 the next, and so on until they are gone. If he's ever had asthma or a sinus infection, perhaps one of the 6 pills got missed and not taken?> I wouldn't be too paranoid about a pill from a medrol dosepak..pretty benign.
