  • I'm not sure about that , but my brother when he was younger had a bad scar on his face from a dog and he used summers eve for female clensing and you realy dont even see the scar. I know that sounds funny , but it is true.
  • My wife used Mederma on her Ceasarian scar after the birth of my daughter. Now, four years later, you can't even tell there is a scar there except in the summertime when she is tanned. EDIT - January 30, 2007: I just wanted to add that the answer posted by Anonymous on Jan. 30, 2007 is absolutely correct. When my wife used Mederma, she consulted with her doctor first, and the doctor said give it a try. It was new to the market then, and he didn't have any experience with it. He asked her if she would report back to him as to the results, which she did. She used it three times daily for about three months, and found it to be very effective. It was expensive (around $100 for the three month's treatments), but not nearly as expensive as plastic surgery to remove or fade a scar.
  • Yes it takes a while though. Ive been using it for about 3 weeks and have seen a difference but only a small one. I guess thats okay though because they directions do say some scars may take 3-4 months to heal. It wouldnt hurt trying but it is expensive $20.00 for a little tube. It should last a while considering its a gel but you have to put it on 4 times a day so if your like me the tube goes by pretty quickly. Im already on the second one. :)
