  • Apply for an old-age pension and resolve with your spouse to make it to your 50th anniversary.
  • 41 years wow that is awesome John really cool. Well you have to have some idea of what she likes stop and think really of something you have done together that has just left her in a glow something that she had to call all her friends to talk to them about and maybe do that again. Maybe put a little different spin on it or something.
  • Invite friends & Family over, have each of them bring a dish and if they drink bring their own beverage, play games and listen to music. If not just have a quiet candle light dinner and exchanging vows.
  • Make breakfast for your wife in the morning. Go to a local state park and take a nice hike, perhaps up a ridge to a beutiful vista. Go out to a nice restaurant for lunch ( the lunch menu is usually a good bit cheaper). Or, you might just go out for a cup of tea or a coffee. Spend the late afternoon looking over family photos and remembering the good times together. In the evening, have the kids or a few close friends or relatives over for dinner, asking them to celebrate with you by bringing a covered dish. If you wish, provide a couple of bottles of inexpensive wine for the dinner party.
  • I think putting together a photo album of times together would be a neat thing to give...or possibly have a friend help put together! Then you can spend sometime over coffee reminiscing!
  • if you want cheap a marriage get married on the 29 febuary on a leap year
  • pizza by candle light and a DVD. Holding hands and making out like when you were a teenager.
  • Go to the place you met or a place you used to go when first dating...if you were young at the time, odds are it won't be very costly.
