  • I am EXACTLY the same way. In fact, I had two dates last saturday night (I still don't know how that happened!). Well, the first one was a set up, and he was a VERY nice guy. He took me to dinner, and we talked (well, I did). He asked if I wanted to go somewhere else after, and I said I had to meet someone. On to date #2- I initiated this connection through a friend of mine. We walked around downtown for two hours, and then drove out of state to see a beautiful park. We spent six hours together, and it was so much fun. I enjoyed it so much more than dinner. It just depends on the type of guy.
  • No I wouldn't have a problem with it. When shall we go for a walk then?
  • Could we compromise and maybe get some frozen custard first?
  • I'm the same, the simpler the better!
  • I would rather go for a walk and just chill. I think it takes a little bit of the pressure of someone you are meeting for the first time, i think if i start dating again that is they way i would prefer it. you dont need to spend any money doing so and you can have a really good time just talking getting to know someone. How well can you get to know someone when you are stuffing your face
  • i think most guys would adore someone who didn't constantly spend their money.. unless spending money on their girlfriends brought them absolute gratification.. but i agree with you :) i'd rather have a picnic or cookout in the park than go somewhere expensive.. it just seems more thoughtful and personal for some reason. However, i certainly wouldn't pass up a 5 star/diamond meal :)
