  • Do you mean be a salaried employee versus making an hourly wage? I would say being paid hourly if the job requires a lot of overtime and salary if the workload doesn't exceed 40 hours a week and there is a chance of being sent home early.

  • Divide your salary into the hours your work annually and see what you're hourly pay would have been. Or is it divide your hours into your annual salary...I never liked math anyway!
  • Hourly. I cant make it a whole year with one paycheck, my budgeting skills arent that great, LOL.
  • Salaried (assuming that's what you mean) has been what I've been doing for a long time. I am what is called an "exempt employee", so I get paid a salary, but I don't have to fill out a time card. But, I am on call 24x7. I have a good employer that is cool with comptime, so if I work 18 hours one day, I can sleep in and come in late.
