Yesterday, in fact. My daughter apparently dropped her donut she was eating before she got on the bus, and when I went out to get her off of the bus in the afternoon, ants were everywhere.

Years ago when I was in India. I watched for hours. Fascinating. Of course, I was a little high at the time!

LOL! Just the other day, as a matter of fact. I was on the way back to Texas from North Carolina on my Harley and getting rather tired of riding, so I stopped at a rest area in Arkansas and sat on one of the stone benches for a bit. Someone had dropped what looked like ice cream on the grass and there was a line of ants going to and from it. I watched them for a few minutes.

I had ants daring enough to crawl across my bare FEET! Never mind the ground! After a few mins I just walked off to find I had accidentally squished about 15 ants in one step.

Last summer. I like to watch ants, they are pretty incredible. I also like to put sticks & stuff in their path, and watch how they re-route & re-organize themselves. I especially like watching them carry large loads!

I don't usually stop to watch them, because I don't like ants. We have them on our kitchen counter once in awhile, and I have to wash everything off, and spend a lot of time trying to get rid of them. With the drought here, they come in looking for water.
