  • i totally understand their frustration in wanting to make a point, but yes, they are in danger of being seen as too extremist and then no-one will listen to them
  • Absolutely too far. I believe that PETA's lobbing efforts and political correctness has caused society to value animal life over human life; and that's wrong. But like most the activists today fighting for media time, PETA's current focus seems to be on sustaining itself. In other words, "Thank you PETA. We heard you, next in line please..."
  • People Eating Tasty Animals has definatley gone too far. Its like they don't want us to eat any animals so they can have them all to themselves!
  • I dont know what the latest news with them is, and I understand where they are coming from, but they've got to realize that humans have been eating meat forever. Do you think the cavemen would have lived as long as they did if they only ate plants? I don't like the PETA people. A few years ago I wanted cute stickers they had, and along with them they sent a dvd that showed a raccoon getting its fur ripped off of him while he was still alive. It was possible the most disturbing real life images I have ever seen. It still haunts me. He was standing there all bloody and sad. Think of how you would feel if someone ripped off your skin why you were still alive and you couldn't do anything about it. Great, now I'm gonna have nightmares.
  • Sure several times. But you can't operate a swing without giving it a good push.
  • The only dealings I've had with them is two women from PETA showed up at a goat show, one had leather shoes, leather belt and a leather purse. The other is a man who has a PETA sign in his front yard and has a lot of dogs that run loose, which is against the law in the country. They kill our deer and turkeys, and have attacked one of our farm hands. So the only dealings I've had with them have make me think they are idiots. Yes I think they are a bunch too far gone.
  • No they have not.Animals deserve rights no matter what we think, and it is moral to respect animals.
