How fast do you read through books? I know it depends on length of book and whether it is good or not, but on average how long?

If I really like a book, I will drop everything else and read it within a day or two.

I read like a FREAKING snail. I have to read the words out in my head as though someone was telling the story to me. I can read faster but i don't get into the book, i just kinda end up skimming over. I've read a total of 20 novels completely, and started and never finished like 100. My favorites are The Quantum Brain by Jeffrey Satinover Mind Scan by Robert J. Sawyer Melancholy Elephants by Spider Robinson Hello I'm Special, How Individuality Became The New Conformity. by Hal Niedzviecki. All great books! I'm very picky with what i read so if I'm saying its great, that should mean a little something ;)

Average sized? Usually about three days, mostly on ly lunchbreak at work. I once went through the ten-volume Mission Earth series (thicker than your normal paperback; probably equivalent to about 17 'average' books) in six days though. The price of boredom combined with FAR too much free time....

If I'm on vacation, I might read a book in a day, otherwise..about a week.
