Which is better for you: reading a great poem by a "Great Poet" or writing a mediocre one yourself?

I used to write poems all the time, and posted them on a website long ago dead. Also will do song lyrics. Not a big fan of reading them, though.

i'd say writing one urself that way u can practice at becoming a good poet and might even get into that sort of business.
